Tharnandi (Ocean Deep)

£6,820

This is a place where the Tamis tree is. From that spot you can go and look at the reef where it’s deep and we catch fish there off the rocks. The beauty of the colours can be seen underneath the water. You can look at them from far away, but it changes as you go closer to look. The beauty of the ocean makes patterns underneath from the water moving, I am standing in awe of what’s down there, watching and looking closely. We locals love going fishing when the tides out, down at the reef, catching different variety of fish to share with families and one another. Living in the Pilbara, we have the choice to go inland or out into the ocean to gather our food when we feel we need a change in our diets, we get our fish from the ocean and our kangaroo from the land.
